Mike Hook has been a professional photographer for the last fifteen years, of which the last eleven years have been in the Middle-East.
He studied photography at the New York School of Photography where he graduated in 2008. After graduation, he also completed a degrees in Journalism and Marketing respectively.
Mike specializes in news, sport, event, portrait and product photography, but has recently started doing adventure photography as well.
Mike has been accredited to various publications like Vogue Italia, where he did a photo essay on a prominent member of the Royal Family of Ras Al Khaimah. He also contributes to news agencies like SOPA Images (Hong Kong), Getty Images and other various international news outlets.
Mike is an easy going type of photographer that emphasizes the quality of the work, but understands deadlines at the same time. He also believes in the integrity of his clients and subjects.
Mike continuously interacts with colleges and peers to learn and create better images for his clients.
